and the Winner is…

January 26, 2009

This was the second and last drawing from the two screenings benefiting legalization of Midwifery in Missouri. I did the drawing the same as the week before to make sure everything was fair. Each card entered in the contest was assigned a number and then I let the computer do the random drawing for me.

Congratulations Chad! As you can see above, you’re the winner of the FREE photography session and 11×4 enlargement with Yvonne Niemann Photography!!! Contact me soon to claim your prize. I look forward to capturing special moments in your life one frame at a time.

Fall in Athens can be absolutely magical!

These sweet sisters had the prettiest November portrait session at Founder`s Garden on UGA`s campus. The vibrant fall foliage was the perfect backdrop, while their soft pinks, delicate florals and cozy layers complemented the scenery beautifully.

Late October and early November are some of my favorite times for fall family photos in Athens, GA. Gorgeous colors, comfortable temperatures and beautiful memories to treasure for years to come.

"Yvonne was fantastic to work with for our family photos. We had a big group plus young kids in the mix, and she handled it all with so much patience. We did a mix of casual family shots and heirloom portraits, and she worked quickly and flexibly around naps, feedings, and toddler fussiness without ever making us feel rushed." - McKenzie

A beautiful fall day in Knoxville, TN, celebrating a very special first birthday!

We wrapped up this sweet milestone session with portraits of Mom and her three adorable kiddos. Because one day, these little ones will be all grown up, and these images will remind them of what it felt like to be wrapped in Mom`s love.

So excited to be back in St. Louis in two weeks! The fall color is supposed to be beautiful while I’m there, which is always such a treat. Those vibrant trees make the most gorgeous backdrop for family and senior portraits.

A few openings still remain for Oct. 23-26:
Saturday, Oct. 24 - 1 Simplicity Session + 1 Signature Session
Sunday, Oct. 25 - 1 Signature Session
Friday and Monday are fully booked.

If you’ve been meaning to update your family or senior portraits this fall, I’d love to see you while I’m in town. Send me a message for details or to reserve one of the remaining spots.

A beautiful way to preserve your memories for generations to come.

These timeless portrait boxes are one of my favorite ways to enjoy family photographs. The elegant linen cover with its embossed laurel design complements any home, while the professional prints inside are meant to be held, admired and enjoyed.

I especially love the versatility of loose prints. Display your favorites, share a few with loved ones and pass treasured memories down through the generations.

Because your photographs deserve to be more than images on a screen. They deserve to be held and cherished for years to come.

A portrait box is included with every Signature Session and is also available for purchase separately.

Late fall can be just as beautiful for senior portraits.

This session was photographed in mid-November here in Georgia, when the landscape had softened into warm grasses, golden trees and beautiful late-fall light.

It’s such a great time of year for senior portraits - comfortable temperatures, gorgeous texture in the landscape and plenty of options for fall wardrobe.

If senior portraits are still on your list this year, there’s no need to feel like you missed your window.

Moms are so often the keepers of their family`s memories - taking the pictures, documenting the milestones and making sure no season slips by unnoticed.

But you deserve to be in those memories, too.

Not just standing together for the camera, but wrapped in their arms. Holding their hands. Laughing with them. Looking at them the way only you do.

Because years from now, your children won`t just want photographs of themselves growing up. They`ll want photographs of you with them.

Get in the frame, mama.

Early Fall mornings gives beautiful light and sometimes works best with busy schedules of teenagers during this time of year.

Love how the light embraces her and how the hydrangeas add a painterly texture to the background.
