For this first birthday photoshoot, we kept things simple, bright and timeless in my home studio in Oconee County. We filled the room with white balloons, along with a few clear balloons filled with delicate confetti, giving her plenty to explore while adding a subtle sense of celebration.
The balloons worked perfectly because they allowed her to simply play and be herself. She crawled through them, reached for them, pushed them around and used a small stool to practice standing. Instead of relying on elaborate props or a heavily themed setup, the focus remained where it belongs – on her.
